There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
There she will sing as in the days of her youth,
as in the day she came up out of Egypt. Hos 2:15 (NIV)
While in prayer this week I heard the Lord say that He was releasing new wells of hope to His Body. Now, all we have to do is to begin digging! Obviously, wells have to be dug- so that is our responsibility. But, more than that is the need for our faith to become activated in this season. In other words, we need to get busy digging with greater faith as God releases a restored hope.
I know it’s been a very difficult season- for us all. However, there is an astounding power in the passage from Hosea 2:15 which discusses a new door of hope. This door of hope can also be prophetically seen as a fresh “well” of living water because hope releases life. In fact, hope is similar to a seed that when planted can spring up into fruitfulness. Without hope we begin to lose vision...without vision we cannot run and finish the race; neither can we live in faith. (see Hab 2:1-4). He says several things to us in Hosea 2:15 which are encouraging in this season: 1. God will give us back vineyards. This means that obviously our vineyards have been stolen. Since in this passage God states that Israel was ruined by her own sin, we must conclude the seductions of the devil had enticed Israel to backslide. The enemy is always relentless when seeking to steal our harvest and breakthroughs of increase. In my book Destiny Thieves, I go to great lengths to expose the evil seductions of our enemy and how the Amalekite spirit seduces us into sin and apostasy. Many pastors and leaders have lost their Aarons and Hurs to the evil seductions of the Amalekite stronghold. Leaders, believe me when I say this: You can believe for their release from this enemy and take back your vineyard! For the Aarons and Hurs, the servants in the House of God who are called to hold up the arms of your “Moses”, know that you can be released from the Amalekite spirit that has risen up against you. God promises to empower you with new strength and determination to win the war against evil and apostasy and, therefore, fulfill your divine potential. |

I heard the Lord say “What Do You See?” Jeremiah 1:11-12 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. 12) Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. I was reminded of the Old Testament Prophets and the times when God was releasing revelation concerning the past, present and the future. Since God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, when He speaks it involves what He has done in the past as well as what He is doing now. So we can understand through this revelation that both of those seasons are keys to releasing our future. The Word of the Lord for 2006 involves God hastening His Word to perform it! He wants us to “see” and have the revelation of this promise. He’s back from the Future! God is the God of our future and He comes back (from the future) to release a prophetic word and a promise which empower us to see our future! When the Body of Christ stepped into this new millennium, we noticed that the numbers began with 2000; involving the number 2 and three zeros. The three zeros were similar to “circles”. Circles represent the cycles of God and since three represents completion, I felt as if God were going to take us through different cycles of His Spirit to bring us to a completion. The Ancient of Days is coming forth with all wisdom, authority and glory to defeat the accuser of the brethren. Though the enemy attempts to change the times of our breakthroughs, the Ancient of Days will defeat him by empowering us with His wisdom, power and revelation. (Daniel 7) |

A Word of Encouragement for 2010 Believers, I wanted to write and encourage you! The year of 2009 has been a year of much shifting, changing and rearranging. However, it is important to move forward into 2010 with a great expectation. Knowing that God, Himself, was in the shaking and shifting of our last season will empower you rather than cause discouragement. Discouragement will steal courage for the season ahead. It is very important to shift into 2010 with courage and godly anticipation for a divine visitation. God desires to show us His glory; however, as He passes by, we must believe He is doing all He promised even when we can’t actually see it in the natural. We must develop greater faith to see with spiritual eyes in the year ahead. A Season of Divine Measurement In 2006, I heard from the Lord that 2010 would be a year of a completed “measuring.” The term “measure” is important to God. You will notice that in Scripture the term “measure,” is often used. Just to name a few, Ps 39:4 states that God “measures our days.” (AMP) When planning the Temple, it was important that the curtains “measured” the same. (Ex 26:2 ,8). Several chapters in Ezekiel speak about the “measuring” of the temple. Interestingly one of the words deriving from the word “measure” is the word “stretched!” As God measures us, He is also checking to see if we have endured the stretching process! I believe we did! In 2006, I prophetically saw God measuring us for the next four years and that it would be a type of testing for a shifting into our next season beginning in 2010. (You may connect to the link at www.zionministries.us concerning the year 2006 prophetic word).The number 10 often speaks prophetically concerning a divine measuring. Think of the number of years that Israel wandered in the wilderness – 40 years- which is 4 times 10. Four is a number that represents things in the natural- such as the 4 seasons, the earthly realm, 4 directions (North, South, East and West), etc. In this type of thinking, we depend upon the natural eye. However, our enemy would cause us to focus on what occurs in the natural. This would link us to the past and to the occult if we are not careful. Remember, the occult attempts to keep revelation hidden so that we cannot see. Revelation exposes what is hidden- so you need to understand the war between the occult and revelation. In other words, keep pressing for revelation which is the ability to see in the supernatural; like peeking into heaven! |
